REVOLUTION UNTIL VICTORY
Kiki Salem
August — September 2020
This is a PSA for ALL PEOPLE whose lives and breaths are taken as threats to the empire’s agenda. For the people who have only known the world from the margins, but have slowly and quickly outgrown the predetermined political perimeters and parameters drawn by our oppressors. This is a PSA for all BLACK, INDIGENOUS, BROWN, IMMIGRANT, REFUGEE, QUEER, FEMME, POOR, FAT, DISABLED people whose existence negates white systems of power. A PSA for people who do and don’t understand that, under capitalism, the only way for those systems to work is through the absence of our (collective) JOY / PLEASURE / FREEDOM. That RACE, GENDER, NATIONALISM and CLASS, are unlearnable ideas and unnecessary for our humanity to continue responsibly on this planet: IF YOUR EXISTENCE FEELS LIKE RESISTANCE, THEN YOUR JOY IS REVOLUTIONARY.
Arabic text reads: OUR JOY IS POWERFUL OUR JOY IS REVOLUTIONARY AND REVOLUTION UNTIL VICTORY
